[Portable Rockwell Hardness Testers PHR-1ST Product details]:
Pipe superficial portable Rockwell hardness tester is a kind of tubing surface testing device which is used to test more than 4.8mm diameter thin pipe with soft metal inside its wall. It is compact and light and generally placed in desktops. Its net weight is 2.3 kg and opening dimension is 25×25mm which is
consistent with the PHR-1S. Our product is equipped with 1.588mm diameter steel ball indenter besides a host and aluminum supporting, which can test HR15T scale, and it is mainly used in testing copper, yellow brass, stainless steel tube, aluminum tubes and other soft materials. The resolution of this hardness
tester can be up to 0.5HR and its shown result and repeatable error meet GB/T230.2 standard. Additionally, its testing force is only 15 kg which means it hardly affects the usage of most workpiece due to the small indentation.

1. The thin wall pipe superficial hardness tester is a type of low-load Rockwell hardness tester.
2. The thin wall pipe superficial Rockwell hardness tester works on the same testing principle with high accuracy as the bench type tester, in compliance with the ISO6508.2 and ASTM E110 standards.
3. Consisting of the tester and bench stand, the superficial Rockwell hardness tester can either be used on the desk or on the shop floor.
4. The low-load Rockwell hardness tester provides non-destructive examination, with slight indentation and no damage to most workpieces.
5. Equipped with the ball indenter with the diameter of 1.588mm, the thin wall pipe superficial Rockwell hardness tester is able to test the hardness value by HR15T scale. This Rockwell hardness tester is generally used for soft materials like copper tubes, brass pipes, stainless steel pipes, aluminum pipes, among others.
6. Also, the thin wall pipe superficial Rockwell hardness tester can be optionally designed with the ball indenter with diameters of 3.175mm, 6.35mm, and 12.7mm, for testing much softer materials like silver tubes, and lead pipes, etc.
7. With more economical costs and easier operation, the superficial Rockwell hardness tester can be used to replace the Vickers hardness tester.
8. Traceable standard hardness block, and qualified indenter.
9. The dynamometer, used for checking load, can be traced to the national secondary standards.
